Services
Use them all as one managed project, or just the station your policy calls for.
Security-cleared Technimove engineers, a dedicated fleet and lockable flight cases — from a single desk to a full data centre decommission, anywhere in the UK.
Collection is the first link in the chain of custody, so we do it ourselves. Our engineers arrive in Technimove vehicles, audit on site if you need it, pack every asset for transit and record serial numbers and asset tags before anything moves.
Whether you are clearing one office or decommissioning racks across multiple sites, the same team, vehicles and paperwork follow your equipment back to our facility in Hackbridge.
Dedicated fleet
Sprinter vans, 7.5-tonne and 18-tonne vehicles sized to the job, with tail-lifts and specialist stair-climbing and lifting equipment.
Secure packaging
Lockable flight cases built for IT equipment, anti-static bubble packaging and bespoke crating for unusual or high-value assets.
Security-cleared engineers
Experienced Technimove staff — many with the company for over ten years — with full security clearance.
On-site audit
Serial numbers and asset tags captured at your premises so the audit trail starts before the doors close.
How it happens
Blancco and BitRaser software erasure across SATA, SAS, SSD, NetApp and EMC platforms, forensic verification of every drive, and a tamper-proof certificate per serial number.
Software erasure keeps the drive — and the asset — reusable, which is why it sits before shredding in the chain. Every media asset is tagged, connected to a controlled wiping environment and sanitised using NIST-compliant methods.
After sanitisation we run forensic verification tools to confirm nothing recoverable remains, then produce a detailed wipe certificate and a full audit trail.
Storage of any kind
SATA, SAS and SSD drives, plus NetApp, EMC and other data-centre platforms.
Network device sanitisation
Factory-reset and configuration erasure for Cisco, Juniper, HP Enterprise, Aruba, Dell, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Brocade — removing IP addressing, credentials, keys and certificates.
Mobile device erasure
Apple and Android devices reset and tracked by IMEI, clearing email, contacts, credentials and business apps.
Secure facility
Restricted access, controlled processing areas, documented procedures and forensic tracking throughout.
How it happens
ADISA-certified shredding to MOD destruction standards, in-house or at your site with a mobile unit. Watch it happen, then receive a Certificate of Destruction.
Some data can't be wiped and some security policies don't allow it. Physical destruction gives the highest level of assurance: drives are reduced from the standard 20mm particle size down to 7mm where required, with hole-punching available for permanent component damage.
Every asset is entered into our management system with its serial number before destruction, inspected by trained technicians afterwards and documented in an audit report.
In-house and on-site
A dedicated shredder at our facility plus a mobile shredding unit that comes to you — with your staff witnessing if you want them to.
ADISA & MOD standards
Certified equipment operated to MOD destruction standards.
Multiple methods
Shredding to 20mm or 7mm, and hole-punching for permanent physical damage.
Full verification
Post-destruction inspection and a Certificate of Destruction per batch, referenced to serial numbers.
How it happens
Board-level diagnostics, genuine components through manufacturer partnerships and resale across eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop and global trade networks — value returned to you.
Reuse beats recycling. Our engineers test every asset for resale suitability, then clean, repair, upgrade and restore to near-new condition — with board-level and microchip-level fault finding where it makes commercial sense.
Graded and photographed equipment is placed across our own commercial channels, specialist reseller networks and TheBrokerSite.com, where we hold Gold Member status in one of the largest global technology trading communities.
Component-level repair
Detailed inspection, board-level and microchip-level diagnostics, and genuine parts through manufacturer partnerships.
Multi-channel resale
eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop, our commercial website and specialist reseller networks.
Global trade reach
UK and European trade buyers and TheBrokerSite.com Gold Membership.
Professional grading
Consistent cosmetic and functional grading with product photography.
How it happens
Reuse rates, recycling volumes, material recovery and carbon reduction documented per project — alongside every certificate the chain produced.
Responsible ITAD should deliver more than secure destruction: it should actively contribute to your environmental objectives. Sustainability is embedded into every stage of the lifecycle, with reuse prioritised before recycling.
At the end of each project you receive documentation covering asset reuse rates, recycling volumes, material recovery and the carbon reduction achieved — ready to drop into ESG and compliance reporting.
Reuse-first
Extending equipment lifecycles through testing and refurbishment before anything is recycled.
Sustainability reporting
Reuse rates, recycling volumes, material recovery and carbon reduction per project.
Responsible governance
Documented procedures, chain of custody and data-security controls behind every figure.
Zero to landfill
Materials that can't be reused are recovered and recycled.
How it happens
Evidence, not promises
Standards we work to, software we certify with and the partners behind the equipment we handle.
Media sanitisation guidelines followed for every software wipe.
ADISA-certified shredding equipment; BitRaser software holds ADISA Product Assurance.
Shredding operated to Ministry of Defence destruction standards.
Data handling, processing and destruction aligned to UK GDPR obligations.
Restricted access, controlled processing areas and documented procedures.
Erasure software compliant with international regulatory frameworks.

Move the sliders to see what your next clear-out could return — in pounds and in carbon.
Indicative rebate
—
Value returned after refurbishment and resale, offset against project costs.
Carbon avoided
—
Embodied carbon kept in use by reuse rather than new manufacture.
Diverted from landfill
—
Everything reused or recovered as material. Nothing to landfill.

Wiping to NIST SP 800-88 with forensic verification removes the data and keeps the drive reusable, which usually means better resale value and a smaller carbon footprint. Shredding is the right choice when a drive can't be wiped, when your security policy mandates physical destruction, or for the highest level of assurance. Many customers combine both: wipe what can be reused, shred what can't.
Every project produces a chain-of-custody record, an asset register with serial numbers, per-serial erasure certificates or a Certificate of Destruction, and — where requested — an ESG report covering reuse rates, recycling volumes, material recovery and carbon reduction.
Yes. Our mobile shredding unit comes to you and your staff can witness the destruction. Serial numbers are recorded before shredding and a Certificate of Destruction is issued afterwards.
Anywhere in the UK, with projects across Europe. Collections are carried out by Technimove engineers in Technimove vehicles — Sprinter vans, 7.5-tonne and 18-tonne lorries — not third-party couriers.
No. We handle everything from a single device to full data-centre decommissioning. Small volumes are usually consolidated into scheduled routes; larger projects get dedicated vehicles.
Often, yes. Equipment with resale value is refurbished, graded and sold through our channels, and the return is offset against the cost of the project or paid as a rebate. The planner on this site gives an indicative view; a firm figure follows an audit.
Yes. We factory-reset and sanitise configuration on Cisco, Juniper, HP Enterprise, Aruba, Dell, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Brocade devices — removing IP addressing, credentials, encryption keys and certificates — and erase Apple and Android devices tracked by IMEI.
Blancco and BitRaser. BitRaser holds ADISA Product Assurance certification and both generate tamper-proof reports compliant with UK GDPR, EU GDPR, GLBA, SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 requirements.
It's broken down for material recovery and recycled. Nothing we collect goes to landfill, and the volumes are documented in your environmental report.
